Observing Time Estimator for the IRAM 30m telescope

We offer online time estimators for the following instruments: 

  1. Time Estimator for EMIR.
    The equations used in this estimator are fully documented in IRAM memo 2009-1.
     
  2. Time Estimator for HERA.

For both cases, you can provide general parameters of your observations, in order to estimate the total observing time for observations with the IRAM 30m telescope, excluding time needed to tune the heterodyne receivers.

For the heterodyne receivers and mapping observations, the noise estimate is done per beam, and not per observed grid position, as had been done with the previous estimator.
