Every year, the institute organizes a (summer) school, aimed to initiate new astrophysicists to radio astronomy at millimeter and sub-millimeter wavelengths.
The school takes place either in Grenoble or in Grenada and is intended for PhD students, post-docs, and scientists who want to acquire a good knowledge of millimeter / sub-millimeter astrophysics and different observing techniques. The schools combine lectures with tutorials and hands-on observations.
Applications will also be accepted from young scientists with little previous experience in mm-astronomy. The participants are selected on the basis of their interests, CV, and references.
